What type of medical information is needed?
There is no medical underwriting for short term policies. You will be required to answer a few medical questions related to major health conditions. If you haven't been treated in the past five years for heart attack, cancer, stroke, diabetes, chemical dependency, AIDS or any other major health conditions, and if you're not pregnant or obese, you may qualify for a policy.
How quickly will the policy go into effect?
The policy can go in effect as early as 12:01a.m. the day after you apply for the policy. It will renew on a monthly basis for a period of 6 months to 12 months, depending on the options selected.
